  1. Create a video blog

@michaelovitch Dude, think about how many people comment on ALL of the video’s he has. If he had to answer every single comment about every video he has, he’d practically be a slave to this channel, wind up gettin burned out on it all and quit makin videos, and then nobody would get to share in the knowledge he posseses.

  2. door locks

@happy543210 I would go along with that if the problem persisted when the tailgate lock switch was unplugged. Since it didn’t stay shorted, I still think the problem is in the switch. Good thinking, though. I hadn’t thought of that.

michaelovitch , michaelovitch , michaelovitch , where have you’ve been in the last few months? Sure Duane could just lay out everything and show us what the solution is, but it’s better for us to guess at the fix for the problem. Didn’t you see the “What’s Wrong With It?” video a couple of months ago? Everyone enjoyed it, and if Duane makes a few bucks from more comments and Adsense, then everyone wins…………except people who complain about it.

@spelunkerd So could I, I have found the way he approaches a problem and finds a solution very clear and concise. He should be teaching the mechanics in my local Ford and Vauxhall garages in the UK what to do. All they can do is read fault codes, none of them know how cars work!
Talking of door locks, I have programmed my car via the diagnostics port to auto-lock the doors at 8MPH and unlock when I take the keys out! It can be switched on or off and emergency unlocking isn’t affected.

@mobilemechman I don’t think it’s the gate lock. I think it’s a broken wire on the harness at the point where the lift gate hinges on the car’s body…that’s were constant movement (lifting and lowering the gate) will cause the wires to break and either short out on each other or on a body ground.
